Want to INVADE UofA?! A group of Adelante members will be driving up to Tucson for DESTINATION LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE for the weekend of February 17-19 2012. The cost is $20 dollars but Adelante’s wonderful advisor is willing to pay half of the cost if you register by NOVEMBER 30th! Check out this awesome event! Valdez’s riveting play with music and dance portrays the life of a young man who is falsely accused of murder after the infamous 1943 Los Angeles Zoot Suit riots. As the play unfolds, the spirit of the indigenous Pachuco guides him towards self-understanding. Directed by Andres Alcala.
